How it works
Android companion app
The companion app handles OAuth 2.0 authentication with the Tesla Fleet API and has a complete interface: commands, automations, and settings. It works standalone, the watch is a second screen, not a requirement.
Wear OS watch app
The watch app is your on-wrist interface. It talks to the companion app or directly to the vehicle over Bluetooth, keeping your credentials on Tesla servers always protected.

Which devices are supported?
An Android phone (required for OAuth setup and the companion app) and, optionally, an Android Wear OS smartwatch for wrist control.
Does WristDrive store my Tesla credentials?
No. Authentication uses OAuth 2.0 tokens managed by the companion app, with the minimum scopes required.
Is my data shared with third parties?
Never. WristDrive does not share data with any third party and is intended only for the vehicle owner.
Which Tesla features can I control?
Door lock/unlock, climate control, battery monitoring and charge management, trunk and frunk, horn and lights, sentry mode, and overall vehicle status.
How do automations work?
Define rules that run automatically: when you enter or leave an area, at a specific time, or when the vehicle state changes. For example, your garage can open when you arrive home, or the car can warm up before your morning commute. Advanced automations are a Premium feature.
